Product Description
Mark your space in seconds, remove it in minutes. LiteMark Removable Floor Strip Decals are 2" × 20" vinyl markers built for trade shows, conference floors, training rooms, retail queue lines, museum exhibits, and any short-term event where you need clean, professional floor markers without gummy residue.
Who this is for
- Trade show & event exhibitors - mark aisles, booth boundaries, product placement, and speaker positions without damaging convention-center flooring.
- Corporate trainers & workshop leaders - lay out breakout areas, station markers, and cue points that peel up cleanly at the end of the session.
- Retailers & queue-line operators - space customers at checkout, HIPAA privacy zones at pharmacies, or fitting-room queues. Easy to reposition when the layout changes.
- Schools, gyms, and civic centers - mark start lines, spacing for assemblies, or gymnasium drill positions. Removes without leaving glue behind on wood or vinyl composite tile.
- Photographers & film crews - hit marks for subjects that come off the moment the shoot wraps.
Why LiteMark Removable Strips
- Water-based low-tack adhesive - designed for temporary use. Stays put for the length of your event, then peels up with no residue for up to 2 years after application.
- 4 stocked colors - White, Black, Red, and Blue. Matte finish means no glare from overhead lighting or event photography.
- Die-cut, not printed - solid vinyl color throughout for a clean professional look. No printer streaks, no fading edges.
- 2" × 20" strip size - large enough to see from across a room, small enough to fit tight aisle spacing. 31 mil thick.
- Sold as 12-pack - covers a typical booth aisle or 6-station training layout in a single pack.
- Indoor, smooth surfaces - works on sealed concrete, VCT, terrazzo, hardwood (sealed), laminate, tile, and linoleum. Test on unusual finishes first.
Application & removal
- Clean the floor - sweep or wipe down. Adhesive bonds best to clean, dry surfaces above 50°F.
- Peel the backing, position the strip, press firmly across the entire surface with a squeegee, hand roller, or the flat of your hand.
- When your event ends, lift a corner slowly and peel back at a 180° angle. No goo, no soap, no scrubbing.
Not intended for
- Outdoor use (this is an indoor product - check our Durable Vinyl or Reflective lines for outdoor)
- Rough, porous, or unsealed surfaces (unfinished concrete, brick, raw wood)
- Long-term (>2 year) applications - use our permanent line for those
- Adhesive-sensitive finishes such as freshly waxed floors or some soft wood coatings - always test first

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I use these for events other than social distancing?
Absolutely - that's what they're made for. Original demand came from social distancing, but the underlying vinyl is a general-purpose event and short-term marker. Trade shows, training layouts, queue lines, film sets, sports drill markers, museum floor callouts, and warehouse temporary staging all use the same product.
Will they leave residue on convention center or hotel floors?
Not within the 2-year removal window. The polyacrylate adhesive is engineered for clean removal. Peel back slowly at a 180° angle. If a strip has been down more than a year on a smooth floor, warm the strip briefly with a hair dryer before lifting.
How many strips do I need for a typical trade show booth?
A 10' × 10' booth aisle usually needs 6-8 strips to mark corners and boundaries. A 20' aisle with intermediate spacing uses 10-12. One 12-pack covers most single-booth setups; larger footprints may need 2 packs.
Can I stick them on carpet?
No - these are designed for smooth, hard-surface flooring. For carpeted convention halls, use our Carpet Marking Shapes instead (Velcro-back or high-tack carpet adhesive).
How long can I leave them applied?
Up to 2 years indoor with residue-free removal. In practice, event organizers put them down the day before setup and remove them within 1-7 days. That's well within spec.
What if I need a custom size, shape, or message printed on the strip?
Contact us for custom orders - we can print single-color text or logos on this vinyl and cut to custom shapes. Minimum order applies.
Are they safe for hardwood floors?
On sealed/finished hardwood, yes - the adhesive is compatible with standard polyurethane and lacquer finishes. On unfinished, waxed, or oil-finished wood, test in an inconspicuous area first. Some soft or oil-finished floors can lift finish along with the adhesive.
Do the colors fade under stage lights or in a sunlit atrium?
Oracal 631 is rated for outdoor use up to 3 years UV, so indoor exposure during a multi-day event is no problem. Long-term direct-sun placement in a skylit hall may fade over months.
