Product Description
LiteMark Thin & Tough Floor Marking Tape is the tape professional facility managers reach for when the line has to be perfect the first time — and still perfect a year later. Engineered for the failures that plague ordinary economy floor tape: a tall edge that catches pallet wheels, stretch that turns straight lines wavy, adhesive-free borders that let cleaning chemicals creep underneath, and dull finishes that stain and dull under a mop.
Why professionals choose LiteMark
- Thin & tough — 2.5 mils. LiteMark stays low so pallet jacks, cart wheels, and mop heads roll right over it. Economy vinyl tape is more than twice as tall — a taller edge is far more prone to catching on pallet edges and cart wheels.
- Adhesive to the edge. Full-width adhesive locks out dirt, mop water, and cleaning chemicals. There is no adhesive-free border. This matters in food processing, clinics, and medical-device manufacturing.
- Non-stretch. Crisp lines. Peel, stick, pull straight. LiteMark lays professional straight lines that pass 5S audits. Conformable tapes can create subtly wavy lines when installed.
- Mop-safe finish. Waterproof gloss surface plus a durable acrylic-family adhesive means clean floor, peel backing, apply tape, and you have a professional floor that survives daily mopping and disinfectant.
- ASTM E84 Class A fire rating. Code-compliant for hospitals, schools, cleanrooms, and public-assembly spaces.
- 13 authentic colors, gloss finish. Consistent from roll to roll.
- Made in Oregon, USA. Slit, rolled, and shipped same-day from iFloorTape's Turner, OR facility.
LiteMark: low profile · clean edges · straight results

Frequently asked questions
How is LiteMark different from ordinary vinyl floor tape?
LiteMark is a 2.5-mil thin & tough vinyl. It stays low so pallet jacks and cart wheels roll over it without catching. Its adhesive is coated edge-to-edge — no adhesive-free border where dirt, mop water, and cleaning chemicals can creep underneath.
How thin is it, and does thinner mean weaker?
LiteMark is 2.5 mils thick. Thinner is stronger on the floor because there's less profile for wheels, mop heads, and pallet edges to catch on. The film is a premium calendered vinyl with a permanent adhesive — thin does not mean fragile.
Will it survive daily mopping and cleaning?
Yes. The gloss surface is waterproof and wipe-clean, and the acrylic-family adhesive is coated edge-to-edge so mop water and disinfectant cannot creep under the edge. LiteMark also carries an ASTM E84 Class A fire rating — compatible with commercial cleaning products used in hospitals, schools, and food-service facilities.
Will LiteMark damage a sealed concrete, epoxy, or coated-wood floor?
No. LiteMark releases cleanly from sealed concrete, epoxy, urethane, VCT, and coated wood at normal temperatures. For finished sports courts (gym-floor wood or urethane), use LiteMark BB, which is tuned for those surfaces.
Do the lines stay straight?
Yes. LiteMark is non-stretch — peel it, stick it, and pull it straight. Conformable economy tapes tend to stretch during install and create subtly wavy lines that fail 5S audits. LiteMark's dimensional stability keeps the line straight when it goes down and keeps it straight month after month.
What's the minimum application temperature?
About 46°F (8°C). For colder floors, warm the surface to 50°F+ with a heat gun and press firmly with a hard rubber roller. Once bonded, LiteMark performs from -40°F to +176°F, so freezer floors and hot loading docks are fine.
Do you offer custom widths, colors, or private labeling?
Yes. Stock rolls ship same-day from Turner, Oregon in 1", 2", 3", and 4" widths. Contact iFloorTape for custom widths up to 12", additional colors, private labeling, or bulk pricing.
