Product Description
The wet, dirty, and high-contaminant choice
SafetyMark Coarse Resilient MK3 uses a firmer PVC film that holds a more aggressive embossed pattern with sharper peaks and deeper valleys. That pattern definition sheds water, dirt, mud, and ice more effectively than the softer MK2 — making MK3 the right pick for outdoor stairs, industrial walkways, docks, and any surface with contamination on it. Same 0.05" applied thickness as MK2, same certifications, same non-abrasive skin-friendly finish.
How MK3 differs from MK2
MK2's softer film gives a rubber-like underfoot feel that customers love in showers and pool decks. MK3 trades some of that softness for a firmer base film that retains a sharper, deeper embossing during manufacture. The result: more aggressive traction and better water/dirt management, but a slightly firmer feel underfoot. If your application involves regular water sheeting, oily contamination, or freeze-thaw conditions, MK3 is the right choice.
Family comparison
- MK2 — softer rubber-like feel; barefoot and pet friendly (SKU CR2N, P759).
- MK3 — firmer film with sharper embossed pattern for wet, dirty, or icy environments.
- Thick CR (TCR) — 0.078" thick for recessed stair-nose channels.
- Lean CR — 0.028" thin and flexible for cleanrooms, kitchens, and curved surfaces.
All four share 95 TRL dry / 60 TRL wet slip rating, R10, NFSI High-Traction certification, waterproof after cure, and a non-abrasive skin-friendly finish.

Frequently asked questions
Q: Is MK3 more slip-resistant than MK2?
A: Both are rated 95 TRL dry / 60 TRL wet. MK3's sharper embossing makes it better at shedding water, dirt, and ice — so in contaminated wet conditions it maintains grip better. On a clean dry surface, they perform equivalently.
Q: Can I use MK3 barefoot?
A: Yes — MK3 is non-abrasive and kind to skin, but MK2 is softer and more comfortable for lounging areas like pool decks. Use MK3 in wet/dirty barefoot areas where its sharper texture won't collect grime.
Q: Is MK3 waterproof and submersible?
A: Yes, once the adhesive has cured 24-48 hours. Do not submerge during application.
Q: Where does this tape ship from and how fast?
A: Ships within 24 hours from our USA warehouse.
Q: Is it pet friendly?
A: Yes — the non-abrasive surface is safe for pets to walk on regularly.

- Anti-Slip Tape for Gyms & Fitness — Chalk-heavy zones and outdoor training areas — sharper peaks shed chalk, sweat, and moisture faster than MK2.
- Anti-Slip Tape for Pools & Spas — Outdoor pool decks and slippery-when-wet aquatic zones where fast water shedding matters.
- Anti-Slip Tape for Boats, Docks & Marine — Dock walkways, gangways, and marina surfaces exposed to rain and algae — sharper embossed peaks maintain grip.
