Product Description
LiteMark Premium Thin Floor Marking Tape is the tape professional facility managers reach for when the line has to be perfect the first time — and still perfect a year later. Slit from genuine ORAFOL Oracal 651 gloss vinyl, it is engineered specifically for the failures that plague economy 30-mil floor tape: stretch, lift, and trip-hazard height.
Why professionals choose LiteMark
- 2.5-mil premium calendered vinyl — approximately 12× thinner than economy 30-mil floor tape. Mop heads and cart wheels glide across it. No lip. No trip hazard.
- Non-stretch, dimensionally stable — length shrinkage under 0.016" per FINAT TM-14. Lines that go down straight stay straight through repeated audits.
- Permanent adhesive edge-to-edge — no adhesive-free border. Mop water, degreaser, and floor dirt cannot creep under the edge and peel the tape from the outside in.
- Gloss finish, mop-safe — wipe-clean surface catches light for visibility and resists staining from typical commercial cleaners.
- ASTM E84 Class A fire rating — code-compliant for hospitals, schools, cleanrooms, and public-assembly spaces.
- 13 authentic Oracal 651 colors — every roll matches the ORAFOL published swatch. No approximations.
- Made in Oregon, USA — slit, rolled, and shipped same-day from iFloorTape's Turner, OR facility.

Frequently asked questions
How is LiteMark different from cheap 30-mil floor tape?
LiteMark is a 2.5-mil premium calendered vinyl — about 12× thinner than economy 30-mil floor tape. Mop heads glide across it, cart wheels don't catch on the edge, and there's no trip hazard. Its permanent solvent adhesive is coated edge-to-edge (no adhesive-free border), so dirt and cleaning chemicals cannot creep underneath.
Is it really genuine Oracal 651?
Yes. Every LiteMark roll is slit and rolled from genuine ORAFOL Oracal 651 Intermediate Cal — the industry-standard calendered vinyl for durable graphics and floor marking. All 13 colors match the ORAFOL published swatch numbers exactly (010 White, 020 Golden Yellow, 022 Yellow, 031 Red, 034 Orange, 040 Violet, 045 Soft Pink, 056 Ice Blue, 057 Traffic Blue, 061 Green, 064 Yellow Green, 070 Black, 072 Light Grey).
Will it survive daily mopping and cleaning?
Yes. The gloss surface is wipe-clean, and the solvent-based permanent adhesive is coated edge-to-edge so mop water, degreaser, and disinfectant cannot creep under the edge. LiteMark carries an ASTM E84 Class A fire rating, which means it is compatible with the commercial cleaning products used in hospitals, schools, and food-service facilities.
Will it damage a sealed concrete, epoxy, or coated-wood floor?
No. LiteMark releases cleanly from sealed concrete, epoxy, urethane, VCT, and coated wood at normal application temperatures. For finished sports courts (gymnasium wood or urethane), use LiteMark BB (P1170), which is tuned for those surfaces.
What is the minimum application temperature?
46°F (8°C). For colder floors, warm the surface to 50°F+ with a heat gun and press the tape firmly with a hard rubber roller. Once bonded, LiteMark performs from -40°F to +176°F, so freezer floors and hot loading docks are fine.
How long will it last?
Indoors on a smooth sealed floor with typical foot- and cart-traffic, expect multi-year service life. ORAFOL rates the underlying Oracal 651 film at 6 years of outdoor UV durability for standard colors when installed vertically — floor life is application-dependent but the base film's chemistry is proven.
Do you offer custom widths, colors, or private labeling?
Yes. Stock rolls ship same-day in 1", 2", 3", and 4" widths. Contact iFloorTape for custom widths up to 12", any of the 82 Oracal 651 colors, private labeling, or bulk pricing.
